The harbourside garden next to the Opera House is at its most colourful from mid August to early October, when the Spring Walk fills with wisteria, rhododendrons and bedding flowers. Orchids and clivias flower through spring as well. It's free, central and easy to combine with a harbour walk, and the lawns by Farm Cove are a good spot to sit afterwards. Being confirmed
